I had the distinct pleasure of being Partner One, or the Last Partner. All of my life my nick name was Chuck or Chucky, that is, untill I entered the seventh grade. People had all ways "picked on" me, called me various name that I did not care for. However, one of my characteristics was the "hook" shape back of my head. The bone. Hence, Chuck-on-bone, later shortened to Chuck-Bone.
I was the combined soul, mind and body of the Last Partners. I maintained tha balance needed to protect our identity. It took all four of us to assume this persona. None of us could do it alone. At least, there was no way to in the beginning. Over the years, being separated from one another for extended periods, I took on the total being. It was hard, and could not be prevented.

Herbo - Partner Two - The Heart
Herbo's real name was Herbert, a tall light complexed man weighing in over 300 pounds. Perhaps, the most distinctive trait was a mole in the center of his forehead. Standing over six foot, he dwarfed me by all most over one foot. People described him as being quiet, smart, strong and fast. A star football player.
Since I have known him longer than the others, I code named him Partner 2. I guess, we could say that he was the heart of the Last Partners. It is from this strength that we flowed from one day to the next. Herbo was stable in that it was a constant part of his personality that acted as the glue keeping us together.
Herbo had an early start in the world of drugs. At one time or another, we all smoked at least one marijuania cigarette, or joint together. In later years, he took it farther, Herbo started selling it. I believe that if I had of been around, he never would have taken this step. But I was stationed in Germany serving in the Army. 7.5 years.
One night, my mom called me in Germany and told me that Herbo had been sent to prison for $1.5 million worth of drugs. $1.5 MILLION! I had never heard of this much marijuania on one person. He did his time and was released before I returned home. Will the Last Partners stand together again? Will things be different now?
Only one Partner to go - Chuck-Bone, he knows and the story shall be told.
